Although Grizzly Bear is currently working on their follow-up to Veckatimest, we haven’t been left wanting. Chris Taylor released his amazing solo album, Dreams Come True, under the moniker Cant. And now Daniel Rossen has released “Saint Nothing” in anticaption of his upcoming EP, Silent Hour/Golden Mile.

“Saint Nothing” is a song of beauty. It’s one that makes you sit there and ponder on where life has taken you and where you see yourself going—not necessarily where you want to go, but where the road bends nonetheless. And rather than making you feel unimpressed, the song’s simplicity leaves you appreciating Rossen’s true talent. It’s a constrained orchestration that not only controls the actual music being performed, but the emotion the music evokes. If this song is any indication of what he will contribute to the next Grizzly Bear album, consider us intrigued and eager.
